Four Color Schemes
Clean Company comes in four flavors: blue, wine, green, and formal. Changing from one to another is as easy as updating the path to the CSS file. All the CSS and images and split into folders based on color scheme making it easy to get things customized just the way you want. In the top right corner of this page you should see a list to demo all the schemes. Click on any scheme to apply it.
Layered Photoshop Files
When you purchase Clean Company you will recieve layered PSD files for all four color schemes. Each file is neatly organized into groups to make customizing as easy as possible.
Effects Powered by jQuery
Clean Company makes use of the popular javascript framework jQuery. For the rotating quotes and featured areas on the homepage are powered by the jQuery plugin Cycle. Cycle is a wonderfully flexible plugin that can handle just about anything you throw at it. Cycle has a large collection of transition effects that can easily be swapped to change the look of your page. Because all the effects are powered by jQuery and Cycle, all the content is still easy-to-edit HTML and CSS.
Smart Design
Clean Company is designed to be easily camouflaged and changed into whatever you need it to be. It's also designed to be sharp enough to use right out of the box. The brighter colors of the Primary and Sprint schemes are friendly and inviting, designed to be fun yet functional. Wine and Formal set a more serious tone, looking modern and professional.
Clean Company also uses Cufon to dynamically render certain headings. The default font is Nilland Black, but changing it out is a very simple process: just upload a font to the Cufon generator then update the path to the new file and your font will instantly appear, sitewide. And because it is rendered on the client side, all your content and keywords remain intact, in plain text, in your documents. This keeps the pages SEO friendly and very easy to edit.
Clean Company's navigation is powered by the ActiveMenu plugin by Chad Ort. It automatically checks the links in the navigation against the URL and dynamically adds the id "active" allowing an arrow to point to the current page. I know highlighting the current page is an old trick, but its just nice to have a script that does it for you automatically.
